Day 01: Arrival day, transfer to Hotel.
Myself of a representative to Nature Trails will be at the airport to pick up you and he or she will transfer to your hotel. Once you got the hotel, we will meet and discuss in details about your holiday programs. It depend on your arrival otherwise, you can make some sightseeing on the streets or visit some of the beautiful temples.
Day 02: A full day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
Today, after breakfast, you will be doing a full day sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath temple, Baudhanath and after lunch, you will enjoy sightseeing tour of Patan Durbar Square. After Patan, you’ll drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square and our tour guide will leave us there free after guiding Kathmandu Durbar Square as well as Kumari Temple. You will have a chance to appearance of “Liviving goddess Kumari (Vestal Virgin who represents a very ancient Hindu deity of Nepal locally known as Taleju, is Buddhist by birth). We will be walking back to Themal by ourselves... it will be great experiences for us to explore Ashon Market (local market) on the way back.
Day 03: Kathmandu/Pokhara: Flight (35 minutes)
After breakfast we drive to domestic airport to catch for flight to Pokhara. At on land, our tour guide will be at the airport to pick up you Once we get to the hotel, we will have detail information about trekking.
You can also drive to Pokhara instead of taking a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Indeed, it is beautiful drive too. If you wish to drive, takes 7 hours drive.
Annapurna Base Camp
Our trek commences from Nayapul, which is an hours scenic drive from Pokhara with some fabulous views of Annapurna (South) and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) en route. From Nayapul, a half an hours walk brings us to Birethanti, situated at the confluence of Modi and Bhurung rivers, here the route divides. We take the West trail towards Ghorepani, a trading village situated at an elevation of 2750 m., where there is a tremendous vantage point (Poon hill - 3194 m.) to view both the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himal. The views at sunrise from Poon hill are simply stunning. From Ghorepani, the trail leads East to the hamlet of Tadapani and on towards Chhomrong,from where we commence our journey into the Annapurna Sanctuary and onwards to Annapurna Base Camp. The journey to base camp follows the valley in between the huge ramparts of Himchuli & Machhapuchhre, eventually emerging into an awesome Amphitheater, where a labyrinth of mountains and Annapurna I tower almost vertically above us.
Itinerary:
Day 04: Drive, Pokhara to Nayapul trek to Ghandrung (1940 m.)
Day 05: Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2340 m.)
Day 06: Chhomrong / Deurali (3100 m.)
Day 07: Deurali / Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m.)
Day 08: Annapurna Base Camp / Dovan (2505 m.)
Day 09: Dovan / Chhomrong (2340 m.)
Day 10: Chomrong to Ghandruk
Day 11: Ghandruk to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara
Day 12: By tourist bus, drive Pokhara - Kathmandu
Day 13: A free day for relax and shopping
Day 14: Transfer airport and fly to home
Cost for above Tour: US$ 370./ per person
Price includes:
